How do I prepare for a window installation?

We ask that you remove all blinds or curtains and move any furniture away from the area before we begin installing your replacement windows. Our professional team aren’t allowed to relocate or remove any electrical wires, such as alarms, so please ensure these wires are moved before we arrive for the installation.

We will lay protective sheeting to prevent any damage to carpet or flooring. We also ask that you ensure children and pets are kept away from the work area during the installation.

How long does a replacement window installation take?

It will take around 4 to 8 weeks from signing for your perfect replacement windows to their installation. An average window replacement will take 1-2 hours; however, we may need to return at a later date should further work be required.

Do I need to move out during the installation?

You won’t need to move out of your home during the installation. Our team will be able to work around your schedule to make sure your new windows are fitted as efficiently as possible.

Can double glazed windows be installed in the winter?

Double glazed windows can be installed all year-round. Our professional installation team have years of experience installing high-quality home improvement products throughout Ireland.

What will happen to my old windows?

After we’ve installed your replacement windows, we’ll clear all work materials and leave the area as tidy as we found it. Your old windows are sent to be recycled, along with the glass and any ancillary products used for the installation, such as aerosol cans and silicone tubes.

PVC windows are sent to a specialist company to be remade into other PVC products. We are proud that our factory and production process meet the requirements of BS EN ISO 14001 Environmental, as a minimum.

What if I have a problem after the installation?

Any issues will be resolved immediately by our professional installation team. If any issues were to arise during your guarantee period, our dedicated Aftercare team will be on hand to support you with your problem.
